Washing and Cleaning

• Handwash (Recommended): Use cold water and a silk-specific detergent or mild soap; gently agitate for 3-5 mins, don’t rub or twist. Rinse thoroughly with cold water, adding a splash of white vinegar to the final rinse to brighten.
• Machine Wash (Use Caution): Only if care label permits. Place in a mesh laundry bag on a delicate/handwash cycle with cold water.
• Dry Clean: A safe, professional option, especially for intricate designs.
• Spot Clean: For small spots, gently blot with a damp cloth and mild soap; test on a hidden area first. 

• NO Wringing: Gently squeeze excess water out.
• Towel Dry: Lay flat on a clean, dry towel and roll up to absorb moisture.
• Air Dry: Hang on a padded hanger or lay flat in a cool, dark, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
• NO Tumble Dryer: Heat and agitation damage silk fibers. 

• Steam: A garment steamer is ideal for removing wrinkles.
• Iron (If needed): Use a low heat setting, iron inside-out, or place a pressing cloth between iron and fabric. 

• Protect: Store on padded hangers or in breathable garment bags (not plastic) to prevent dust, light damage, and mildew.
• Cool & Dark: Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use bleach or harsh detergents.
